Another international trip that’s been in various stages of planning for months- and TODAY’S THE DAY!!!

Today begins another epic adventure of tooling around 10 countries, all new to me, on the Balkan Peninsula. The itinerary is packed out with a new destination almost daily. There are castles, museums, stunning landscapes, art, mountains, seasides, and the rich, bold flavors of the Balkans all to be explored and savoured and I can’t wait!! For those of you just joining in here I’ll be posting a few sneak peeks as I can throughout the travels and will share all of the juicy details, successes, missteps, stories, and photos after I get back. There may be a few surprises I have up my sleeve as well…. 😉

Among other highlights I’m looking forward to are: Dracula’s Castle, the Mucha Museum, Franz Kafka stuff, goulash, paprikash, Cream Cake, local beers and wines, and Prague at night! I hope you’ll read along as I make my way from country to country; for now, time to load the bags and make my way to earn another set of Trans-Atlatic wings!
